A whale show!!!

A few days ago some people dropped in to see the hotel.  This happens fairly often, they see the sign, and probably wouldn't mind a break from the bumpy road, so they come in and we give them a tour. 

What timing these people had!!  In much closer than usual were humpback whales, breaching and breaching, over and over again.  It seemed to go on for an hour, and you could hear their voices as they broke the surface.  Absolutely thrilling!

A woman in the party had her camera out and was furiously taking pictures, nearly in tears.  "You'll have to excuse me" she said.  "I've never seen this before!"
